Wes Olson, Canada's preeminent bison expert, will join you for a 4 - 6 hour tour of Grasslands National Park. Tailored to your needs and interests, the tour will first be by vehicle and then on foot. Wes will take you back in time to the period before the Europeans arrived and show you places where the indigenous people lived for more than 6000 years. He will show you some of the hidden gems of the prairie landscape. Wes will weave his expertise and passion for bison into the tour, discussing the relationship of bison to the land and wildlife, and the importance of reintroducing bison to the park.
